Mariam Chilaia, 27, was abducted by photography when it was still difficult for her to understand the purpose of the camera. When did she finally decide to pursue this activity? How difficult it is, and what it depends on to shoot/film a good wedding photo/video?

-  I think, I got interested in the camera, when I found my grandfather's old item at home, an old digital camera. At that age, I couldn't figure out what it was, I just kept it as my favorite thing. As I got older, I began to think about what a cool shot a soldier with a hobby like that would have in photography, and when I was in high school, I started taking photos. These weren't any important shots, it just started to make me happy when I was shooting, people, old things, different events... Photography is now my profession.

- How difficult is the process of filming a wedding, and what does it take to create a good image?

- Many people think wedding photography is the simplest process and it only takes the direct usage of the apparatus, though wedding photography is as much an art as other genres of photography. It is a very difficult process, the photographer has to create photos of different genres at once, capture the emotions throughout the day, create a positive mood for the couple, carefully observe every detail, so to speak for a couple of hours to get to know the couple and create an interesting love story. A good mood is needed to create good staff. I try to be the closest person to a couple for their important day. It is important to relieve tension and often help to deal with various problems on this day, thereby strengthening trust and friendship.

- If you had a distinguished wedding, couple? While looking at your page, I saw one interesting photo and a screenshot of conversation, where the bride broke her leg before the wedding, but the wedding didn't break down. Tell us about this story and the couple? How did the filming and the wedding go?

- Of course, every photographer has a distinctive, exciting, memorable wedding from his own album. I also have my favorite wedding photo sessions. One of them is exactly the bride with the broken leg, who gave me lots of interesting shots and didn't ruin the wedding. The couple handled everything perfectly. Their character and nature allowed me to produce good reports. I was very lucky that the bride was not scared by this session, nor did she refuse the footage where the crutch and fractured leg were clearly visible.
